It was great to catch up with some of our fab Wellington friends and clients on Tuesday the 28th of July for our Winter Warm up. We talked a lot about what’s happening to #BuildBackBetter in Aotearoa, enjoyed mulled cider, swapped ‘new normal’ stories, celebrated woolly hats and admired the moon through a handy skylight!

Thanks to all our clients and friends for joining us  t the fabulous The Cross Restaurant and Bar. It was great to have our GoodSense crew  GailEmmaAllanahKylie and Kath all together!  Thanks to Southern Cross for being such a snug and welcoming sustainability creds venue!

We got great messages of inspiration that were left behind on the post-its. The feedback on our #BuildBackBetter post-it wall was themed around how we are as people, in gist; ‘supportive conversations’… ‘celebrating the courage required to change how we live and work’… ‘mental health and wellness at work’… ‘making a cultural change towards sustainability’… ‘making sure the work we do continues to make a difference’.

An unintended parallel with our Spring Fling 2019  event where we celebrated 10years of GoodSense was the Southern Cross cafe and bar having a resident artist’s work on display in the space. Shayne Nankivell had to learn to speak, eat, walk and function again in daily life after suffering a brain injury in a car accident in 1988 at the age of 21. In 2014 he enrolled at art school and learned to paint. Our thanks to Shayne for bringing the warmth of nature into our gathering.

It was really special for us to share in big work together, to build back a better Aotearoa we can all be proud of, that nurtures her people and the rest of nature. Marketing sustainability with such great people feels fun and important!

Celebrating the good and the potent possibilities are key to that.

At GoodSense we work with organisations who do right by nature and society as well as their shareholders.  If you want to outsource marketing support or get help with marketing and brand strategy from an experienced nationwide team that share your values, please get in touch.  Or read more about the kind of work we do.
