Living the Artist’s dream in India

Our very own GoodSenser Natalie Guy was awarded the inaugural 2017 Asia New Zealand Foundation  arts residency to Varanasi, India hosted by Kriti Gallery.  She is in residence for three months from late August until November.  She hopes to use this time to work with local brass-workers and embroiderers with the finished works planned to be shown at Malcolm Smith Gallery in Auckland in January 2018.

While she is away, you can view Natalie’s work in October at the Woollahra Small Sculpture Awards, Sydney and in November at Sculpture in the Gardens, Manukau. You can keep up to date with Natalie as she will be blogging about her experience on her website.

Kath Dewar, MD of GoodSense.
